My shop is already on the map — is that a problem?
No — that's the point. The catalogue is built from public information so collectors can find every shop, claimed or not. Claiming puts you in control of the listing: hours, games, events, photos, and the analytics behind it.
What does claiming cost?
Nothing. The claimed listing — edits, events, analytics, staff access — is free, and Featured is the only paid product (entirely optional). If that ever changes, owners hear it from us first.
How does ownership verification work?
We check you against the shop's public contact info (website, phone, email domain). Most owners are approved instantly; edge cases go to a quick human review.
Why is Featured limited to 2 shops per area?
Because 'featured' only means something if it's scarce. We cap it to two shops within a local radius of each other — so the gold placement stays honest and collectors trust it, which is what you're paying for. Far-apart shops don't compete, so it's not about arbitrary city lines.
Can I sync inventory from my POS?
BinderPOS and Collectr sync automatically today, with more connections in the works — listings refresh on a schedule and are hidden from the marketplace if the sync goes quiet, so collectors never see ghost stock. You can also add items by hand or upload a CSV, and post a buy list alongside it.
Who owns my listing data?
You do. Your edits are yours, community members can only suggest changes for your approval, and canceling Featured never touches your listing.
